  Dr. Paul has conducted over 50 clinical trials and research projects, authored over 20 studies and established over 15 protocols. He has been a leading trauma surgeon, cancer surgeon, trainer and professor in the Washington, D.C. area for over 20 years, and is now lending his expertise to the pursuit of expanding clinical trials and advances in medical care and the prevention of diseases in underserved populations at home and abroad. He has trained medical and emergency personnel in the medical arts and emergency room management, including disaster preparedness and relief efforts. Dr. Paul has authored and co-authored chapters in books addressing the management, prevention and diagnosis of various surgical conditions, including injuries and critical care. He has been a visiting professor to many institutions in the U.S. and abroad. He is the co-founder of the Central and South American Educational Institute, located in Mexico City, Mexico. His current interest and research field is in pancreatic cancer, cancer prevention and genetics in cancer and other diseases. He has received numerous awards for his excellence in teaching, leadership in medicine and community service. Dr. Paul's first priority and commitment is to transferring the U.S. and other developed nations' medical opportunities to South Asian countries. He is also pursuing various avenues for assisting African nations.
